Rush and Lusk Educate Together National School
A bespoke 7 metre Cosmos Outdoor Classroom designed, handcrafted and installed by Geodesic Domes Ireland for Rush and Lusk Educate Together National School. Finished in the school's signature blue with Solar Comfort Glass, custom perimeter seating and environmentally friendly ground screw foundations, the project provides a bright, year-round learning environment tailored to the school's needs.
Rush and Lusk Educate Together National School wanted a permanent outdoor classroom that would provide a bright, inspiring and durable learning environment while reflecting the school's identity.
We designed, manufactured and installed a 7 metre Cosmos Outdoor Classroom, handcrafted in Ireland from sustainably sourced hardwood timber and fully glazed with 6 mm toughened safety glass. The school chose our Solar Comfort Glass upgrade to help reduce solar heat gain and glare while maintaining excellent natural light throughout the year.
To complement the school's branding, the aluminium window and entrance door frames were finished in the school's signature blue, creating a distinctive and cohesive appearance. The dome was installed on ground screw foundations, providing a fast, low-impact installation with minimal disruption to the school grounds.
To maximise the use of the space, we also designed and installed bespoke hardwood seating around the inner circumference of the dome, creating a comfortable and flexible learning environment for pupils and teachers.
The completed Cosmos Outdoor Classroom now provides the school with a premium, year-round outdoor learning space designed to serve future generations of students.
